Google is now competing with Microsoft. As soon as Microsoft launches it’s new search engine called “Bing” Google competition become hotter now. So now Google has announced to launch new Operating System (O.S) called “Google Chrome O.S”.
Google has officially announced this news in there Official blog yesterday. I think this O.S may beat all other O.S (Microsoft products Xp, Vista etc) This O.S is aimed to be release at the second half of 2010.
Some Notable point on Google Chrome O.S :
- Google Chrome O.S is an open source so anyone can use it for free of cost
- Light weight operating system that will initially to be targeted at Netbooks
- Google Chrome O.S will run on both x86 as well as ARM chips and they were working with multiple OEM’s to be number of netbooks to market next year

- The Google chrome O.S is being created for the people who spend most of the time on web and designed to power computers ranging from small netbooks to full size desktop systems
- They are concentrating about time i.e boot time when the pc start, Fast accessing data etc
- They are completely redesigning the underlying security architecture of the O.S so that users don’t have to deal with viruses, malware and security updates.
