Google has launched two new features for Google Reader that is “Explore” feature and “Sort by magic” option. This features are added to get the relevant post on what you have subscribed in the reader i.e if you subscribe blog related to “Computer tips” then Google reader will automatically picks popular blog related to that topic which you have not subscribed and also gives option to subscribe that blog.
Explore :
As I already told that Google has add new feature to Google Reader see the screenshot below this the “Explore” feature how displaying live in Google reader. In this Explore option you may get two parts one is “Popular items” and another is “Recommended sources” . 
Popular items:
In the Popular item section you will get only popular item around the world and this may not based on your taste. It may contains popular post, popular videos, popular images etc anything which popular around the world will be displayed in the Popular items category. The contents which is displaying in explore section may includes the feed which you may have not yet subscribed. This may help you to get some popular sites or blogs related to your taste.
Recommended sources:
In the Explore option we also see “Recommended sources” in this option you will get feed subscription option which are related to your taste and this recommendations is purely based on your taste. This recommendation is based on Reader Trends and Web History
Sort by magic:
This sort by option is based on your activity inside the reader i.e if you like some more post related to “Google Reader” and you clicked “Like” option below the content then it will sort based on your ranking. More you clicked “Like” and some sharing option the sorted resulted will be more accurate and when sorting the result they never include the feed which you have not yet subscribed so in this “Sort by magic” you will get result only for what you have subscribed.
Finally all new feature included are really nice if haven’t tried yet then go and try it out now.
