Count visitors through wordpress.com stats plugin

Today there are many site and plugins which can provide statistics about your visitors. Some of such services are Google Analytics, Statcounter, Sitemeter etc. All these site provide number of visitors who visited to your site and some other information about your visitors who visited to your blog but only when you Logged into there site i.e you need to Login Google Analytic or such other site to know information about your visitors.

Login each and every time to know about visitors is a annoying thing and time consuming too so today I am introducing wordpress plugin called “wordpress.com stats” which can solve all above problems.

How to count number of visitors through wordpress plugin called WordPress.com stats :

To count your visitors you need to install wordpress plugin called WordPress.com stats it is developed by WordPress itself
After installing plugin activate it when you activate it will ask API Key enter that key and get information about your visitors when you logged into your wordpress blog (self hosted)

Advantages of using WordPress.com stats :

You will get number of visitors who visited to your blog when you logged into your wordpress blog(self hosted) without visiting another page.
It saves lot of time
Referrer: It gives information about your Referrer sites i.e if some one comes form other site to your site then it will displays the link of such site
Search Engine Terms: In this column it gives the information about the terms people used to find your blog
Top Posts and Pages: In this column gives the links of the posts on your blog got most traffic
Clicks: Your visitors who clicked links on your blog
They don’t count your own visits to your blog so you can get correct result
It’s one of the fastest stats system
Finally, all processing and collection run on there (wordpress.com) servers and not on ours, so it doesn’t cause any additional load on your hosting account.

you can use also statpress this is quite handy plugin with lost of data collected about your visitors and you can delete the staored data or download it also

I am a big fan of this WordPress plugin myself, and actively use it on my website. The good part of this plugin is that it does not puts any load on your website, as all the statistics are stored at wordpress.com
